- BP15 - Chatillon's finest quality mechanical platform scale with large 15" dial and 13-1/2" x 19" platform
- BP13 - The same rugged construction features as BP15, but with a 13" dial. Excellent for industrial weighing
Features:
- Cast iron base and levers, plus a heavy gauge steel platform result in a heavy weight at the bottom for extra stability
- 1/8" thick phosphor bronze rack and stainless steel pinion
- Glass-covered metal dial, knife-edge pointer and chrome plated steel dial sash
- Hardened steel pivots and bearings
- Adjustable leveling feet and a spirit level indicator
- Temperature compensated oil dashpot
- Removable head cover and column back for easy access to the dial mechanism and the dashpot
- Enclosed tare adjustment = 10% of scale capacity
- Shipped completely assembled

1. Certificate of Conformance No. 88-096A1, MODEL 13/A and TYPE 15, was issued under the National Type Evaluation Program of the National Conference of Weights and Measures, that the design conforms to the NIST Handbook 44 Class III. The scale is "LEGAL FOR TRADE" subject to on-site verification by the local Weights and Measures jurisdictions.
2. Meets all requirements of the NIST Handbook 44 Class IIII. Usage of Class IIII scales in trade is limited to certain transactions. Consult your local Office of Weights and Measures for clarification.
3. Not legal for trade. For weight estimating purposes and internal use only
4. Scale dial is graduated in both metric and avoirdupois units of weight
5. Temperature range: +14°F to +104°F (-10°C to +40°C)
6. Temperature range: +45°F to +100°F (-7°C to +38°C)
Options:
- Higher columns (60" from top of platform to center of dial) are available. Add suffix "-AW" to catalog number
- Type 302 stainless steel platform cover. Order p/n 16012
- Quick tare knob. Order p/n 12130-3 for BP13 models, or p/n 12130-4 for BP15 models (Note: must not be used in legal for trade models)
- Stainless steel provision pan. Order p/n 23019. Note: since the provision pan weighs 10 lb, models with 65 lb and less capacities must be back-started. Add suffix "-BP_ to the catalog No. Models with 100 lb or more capacity have sufficient tare adjustment to accommodate the provision pan's weight.
